Mojo Taqueria Lyons: Authentic Mexican Flavor in the Heart of Lyons

Had our wedding rehearsal dinner here for a big group! Awesome service! They even came during their closed time for a walk through before we arrived. Food & drinks were DELICIOUS! Highly recommend dining here!

If you're ever in Lyons and craving some great Mexican food, this is the place! Food was outstanding, the server was on top of drinks and the atmosphere was calm. Highly recommended! The lady at Lyons Classic Pinball recommended this place to me and I'm glad I came!!

Three tired packrafters had an awesome late lunch here! We got the taco + rice and beans specials. I’d say the black beans were good, the red beans were better. All tacos were delicious - the tinga chicken surprisingly so! Very friendly staff and a lovely outdoor patio to sit on. Perfect afternoon stop in Lyons!

We tried six different kinds of tacos they were all very good except the carnitas ( the meat needs to be toasted and there needs to be more pineapples) . The corn tortilla that wrapped around the tacos felt different/yummier: it was fluffier than most. Everything on their daily-specials menu was great. I loved my Korean Taco with kimchi. The salad was very refreshing- this is the first first restaurant I have visited that uses Dinosaur Kale.. Yummy light flavor with a light vinaigrette. I also love the beans and rice. Excellent. We just came back from Seville Spain where we had churros and chocolate. They have it on the menu here. The churros were freshly made, different from the carnival or machine made ones in general - not the same as the ones in Spain. They have cinnamon and sugar on them. Still very good. Would like them to put the chocolate sauce in a ceramic container to even out the presentation. Overall this restaurant was a great find!

Stopped here for lunch after a hike and am glad we did! Tacos were creative and tasty. Enjoyed the seltzers with fresh fruit. What really stood out was the service. I wish we got our waiter’s name—he was so helpful to suggest some things to do before we had to head back to the airport. We would not have found the river trail in Lyons otherwise!

Food is good, there are some nice options for vegetarians. If you are used to tex mex or Cali mex you may be left feeling like it didn't hit the mark but the food is good regardless. We tried a large variety of the tacos and I honestly liked the cauliflower taco better than the flank steak taco. The rice and beans were just meh, this is kinda really important for anyone who grew up in a family that eats rice and beans. The corn appetizer is also just ok. Could have been better I wouldn't order it again. The fried yucca was good I would order that again. My service was ok nothing amazing but nothing bad either. I was brought my bill before being asked about dessert which I did want and ended up ordering. That dessert was a mangolada or something like that and they don't make it. It's just a store bought little ice mango style cup with a wooden spoon. I'm glad some people love this restaurant and it's nice to have options but if you are picky about Mexican style food then it may fall short for you.

Mojo's is seriously the best place to eat, hands down!! We have been going to Mojo's for more than 4 years and it is so good. It is so good, that we will drive an hour from where we live to go to Mojo's for dinner, or lunch and then drive home an hour. You only do things like that for a place that is very good and special. Their tacos are absolutely amazing. The infusion of the different flavors that they mix together are outrageously delicious. Their chips and salsas they have are some of the best I've ever had. The salsa trio is just a wonderful deal and a great way to have different flavors of salsas. We always tell friends that we know or others that we may meet about this place. It truly is one of our favorite places to go eat. I met the owner a long time ago when he was at this location and he was just a down to earth guy, that came up with these ideas for sauces and flavors and ran with it to make this amazing restaurant. We are SO THANKFUL he did.

We hosted our rehearsal lunch here for our wedding, and we had nothing short of a phenomenal experience. This is a very inclusive staff who made us feel so welcomed. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and we had a wonderful time.
